Amauta School building at Taray
The AMAUTA school building is divided into a sleeping and a study/teaching area and has a lovely, sunny garden with fruit trees. The building is in Taray, a small village close to Pisac, surrounded by snow peaked mountains and typical houses. There is a large common room with a fireplace. Located at a lovely spot, the school building in Taray comes complete with a swimming pool, gardens to stroll through and grounds spreading around the house. Students can come and relax, read, meditate and focus on their studies, all with an astounding view of the mountains in the background. Here all students live together with the Spanish teachers and the school/residence staff during one week, as one, big family.
